As part of our Personal Development curriculum, every year class teams adopt a shared identity linked to an animal. Animals are chosen during transition visits prior to each new school year starting. Children learn how to be a good team and build a positive shared community for learning and growing together by taking inspiration from the characteristics of their animal.
For 2026 2027 Class 2 are our 'Dolphins'
We know that dolphins are very intelligent animals who have self awareness and great problem solving skills. In our class 2 pod we strive to be just the same! Working hard to learn and apply our skills to work things out and find a way, even if we don't get there the first time.
Dolphins are sociable animals who live in a pod and hunt cooperatively. In our class team we aspire to always work well together and just like dolphins use good communication skills to help us be collaborative.
Although very similar in appearance dolphins have been found to have individualised personalities and we value this in our pod. We know that we are all unique and all bring something different to our team to make it brilliant.
